Integrated photonics is rapidly evolving beyond its foundational role in data centers, driven by silicon photonics, toward a broader range of applications. Novel material platforms, scalable architectures, and heterogeneous integration are enabling disruptive advances in microwave photonics, LiDAR, photonic computing, and cryogenic quantum interconnects. INGEN2025 brings together leading researchers, innovators, and industry stakeholders to share the latest breakthroughs and accelerate the adoption of next-generation photonic technologies in the scenic setting of the Swiss Alps. 

The conference features a rich technical program, including invited talks and panel discussions, as well as a dedicated entrepreneurship session, fostering dialogue between early-stage companies and translational research stakeholders. This session is designed to catalyze innovation by bridging academic research and industrial deployment, and to highlight success stories and challenges in scaling photonic technologies to market.
